There were many insane goals in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. For soccer fans around the world, the World Cup was spectacular. These goals below were some of the best goals and left crowds stunned.

One of the amazing goals from the Fifa World Cup this year was when Richarlison scored a bicycle kick against Serbia in the group stage. Vinícius Júnior crossed it in, Richarlison took one touch and then leaped up to kick the ball past the goalkeeper, putting Brazil ahead 2-0. All of the fans went crazy and the subs mobbed Richarlison. Brazil went on to win the game 2-0 as well as their group stage.

Another amazing goal from the Fifa World Cup was Luis Chavez’s 30 yard free kick against Saudi Arabia. He kicked it left footed to the top right corner of the goal and the goalie didn’t stand a chance to save it. This put Mexico ahead 2-0, but they only won by 1. Because of Luis Chavez’s stunning goal, Mexico beat Saudi Arabia 2-1.
Mbappe’s Tying Goal

The last amazing goal from this FIFA World Cup that I chose was Mbappe’s second goal in extra time at 97 seconds to tie the World Cup final, 2-2. It was a one-two with Marcus Thuram and Mbappe drilled it to the bottom right corner to tie the game. This helped France go to penalty kicks, even though they eventually lost. Mbappe won the golden boot with 8 goals, though, which is awarded to the player who scores the most goals in the World Cup. Mbappe’s insane goal helped France not let Argentina win easily.
There were many amazing goals in this year’s World Cup, but these three stood out the most: Richarlison’s bicycle kick, Luis Chavez’s thirty yard free kick and Mbappe’s tying goal in the Final. These are the best goals from the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
Fun Fact: Did you know that the World Cup trophy used to be called the Jules Rimet trophy, named after the FIFA president who set up the first World Cup tournament? The trophy was called this from 1930 – 1970 until they changed the name to the FIFA World Cup Trophy after Brazil won the World Cup for a third time.
I loved the pictures and I liked the goals that you chose and I think they are very cool especially the Luis Chavez Free Kick.
